Marion Campbell is Professor of Health Services Research and Vice-Principal (Research & Knowledge Exchange) at the University of Aberdeen. Marion trained in statistics and is an experienced clinical trialist and trials methodologist. She specialises in the methodology of evaluative research, especially the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials of complex interventions and the methods of complex designs including cluster randomised trials. She is also a member of the CONSORT group which oversees the reporting guidance for clinical trials. She is actively involved in critical care research and has been involved in the design and conduct of numerous evaluations of critical care interventions.
