Submitting an abstract
Ultrasound has materially changed the course of Critical Care.
Have you stepped out of the shadows with your ultrasound machine to help make a game changing diagnosis, provide diagnostic support, alter management or transform care? Share your story and Ninja precision ultrasound skills by submitting an abstract of no more than 500 words outlining your case together with a brief description (a teaser!) of what your ultrasound video will show.
All members of the MDT - all professions, all grades, any type of student
Presentation format for selected abstracts
5 minute pre-recorded presentation
Top 5 abstracts will be offered the opportunity of a live oral presentation and then join a panel of 3 clinicians to discuss and debate the perceived utility of ultrasound.
Selected authors will receive clear instructions on how to produce their pre-record and embedded video or preparing for the live presentation.
A winner will be selected for the best live oral Ultrasound Ninja presentation and will be announced during the Closing Plenary session on Wednesday 8 December 2021. The winner will also receive a Complimentary 3 Day Registration for SOA22 or SOA23 - your choice!
Those accepted for a five minute pre-recorded presentation will be judged alongside all the other ePoster presentations with the opportunity to win a Complimentary 3 Day Registration for SOA22 or SOA23.
