State of the Art 2019

Join us for our annual evening event at the Jam House!

Located in the heart of The Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, the Jam House occupies a traditional and Historic Georgian Building looking out on to the picturesque St Paul's Square. The Jam House is a landmark, long standing, award-winning venue offering a unique combination of live music, good food and great times!

The Jam House venues have an intimate atmosphere for live music, favouring the ‘unplugged’ feel with more contact between artists and members of the public. There are no futuristic, technological lighting effects, just simple theatrical style focused on the artist and providing a live entertainment experience.

This year we have a Pilates session on each morning of the Conference. More information on how to book your classes will be available soon.

If that's not enough, we have a drinks reception on both Monday and Tuesday within the Exhibition Hall.

SOA19 is packed with educational content as well as opportunities to relax, network and have the very best in conference experiences!

The West Midlands Intensive Care Group invites you to its Winter Dinner at Praza Restaurant Edgbaston on Sunday 8th December 2019 from 7pm.

This meeting, to be held on the eve of the SOA19, will be an opportunity to have some good food, excellent company and chew over some of the big issues ahead. We hope colleagues from around the country and international visitors will join us.

Main discussions will be around the challenges of staffing for the future. We’ll touch on single specialty training and how might such consultant jobs be created; hub and spoke appointments; senior ACCP supporting smaller hospitals. This event is subsidised and includes: welcome drink, 3-course Indian Banquet and wine/soft drinks on the table. All for only £30!
