Dan Hadfield is a Critical Care Nurse and Research Fellow at King’s College Hospital. Until May when the programme ended, he was also one of 70 UK research leaders on the NIHR 70@70 programme supporting nurses & midwives towards clinical academic careers. He previously held an NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship and undertook his PhD at KCL investigating the use of Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist in critically ill adult patients. Dan has thirteen years of experience in critical care nursing including bedside, managerial and research delivery roles. His research interests are respiratory physiology and mechanical ventilation in critically ill adult patients.
