Djillali Annane, MD,PhD, is a professor in medicine at University Paris Saclay-UVSQ. He is director of General ICU at Raymond Poincaré Hospital, director of FHU SEPSIS, and Dean of Medical School Simone Veil. He is ranked among the top 0.1% in the field of sepsis. He has contributed to international and multi-disciplinary guidelines, to about 570 peer–reviewed articles and about 150 book chapters. His H-index is of 105, with 100073 citation (Google scholar). He has mentored young colleagues, who became faculty members in French, Belgium, US or Canadian Universities. He is the founder of the CRICS-TRIGGERSEP network. He has obtained funding from Ministry of Health, Ministry of Higher Education and Research, European Commission, non-profit organizations, and private companies.
