Linda-Jayne is an Intensive Care Consultant and Anaesthetist in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. She is an Honours graduate of the Queen’s University of Belfast and undertook her postgraduate training in the Northern Ireland Deanery.
Her interests include thoracic anaesthesia, which involves a predominance of video assisted thorascopic surgery and tracheal interventions. She also has an interest in medical education, quality improvement and physician wellbeing. She is contributing locally to a staff wellbeing workstream, has published on this subject in the Oxford Textbook of Critical Care and has spoken at national meetings on physician burnout. She professionally procrastinates from an over active Twitter account @ljmottram. She is married to David and has three children. In the interests of work-life balance, there isn’t room for much else at the moment!
