Mike Margarson trained in London, Innsbruck, Oxford, Munich and Sydney and is currently Consultant in Anaesthesia and Critical Care, St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester. His MD thesis investigated capillary permeability in Sepsis.
At St Richard’s he was ICU clinical lead for 10 years and FICM tutor until August 2021. From 2013 to 2019 he served two terms as Chair of the Wessex Intensive Care Society. In March 22 he was one of the team who undertook the Patrouille des Glaciers route to fundraise over £80K for ICU charities.
