ROBIN GILL

Robin Gill, Emeritus Professor of Applied Theology at the University of Kent, chaired the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Medical Ethics Advisory Group for thirteen years. He is a member of the Medical Research Council’s Stem Cell Bank Steering Committee and, formerly, of the BMA’s Medical Ethics Committee and of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics. Editor of the journal Theology and CUP’s New Studies in Christian Ethics, he has written most recently: Christian Ethics: The Basics (Routlege 2020); Moral Passion and Christian Ethics (CUP 2017); A Textbook of Christian Ethics 4th Edition (T&T Clark 2014); and Sociological Theology 3 Volumes (Ashgate 2012-3).
