Sarah graduated from King’s College London in 2010 with a Master’s in Pharmacy followed by completing her preregistration training and residency at Barts Health. Sarah moved to Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 2014 as a specialist pharmacist rotating through cardiovascular, renal and ICU. She was appointed as a highly specialist pharmacist in critical care in 2018. She has extensive experience in critical care including ECMO and has led and supervised multiple audit and research projects. In 2021, she was appointed as the lead pharmacist for critical care and cardiovascular at St George’s Hospital. She leads a team of 13 pharmacists ensuring medication optimisation, evidence-based medicine and patient safety is at the heart of daily practice. As well as her management and leadership role, Sarah maintains a specialist interest in antimicrobials within critical care.
