Sinéad O’Halloran is the Consultant Pharmacist for Critical Care at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, a 900 bed District General Hospital (over two sites – Lewisham Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital) in South East London. She was appointed to this post in 2016, but has worked in Critical Care for nearly 20 years. She has contributed to a number of books including “Urgencias Farmacos” a publication similar to the BNF, published in Spain and South America; and “Protocols in Critical Care”. She is an active member of the UKCPA expert practice group and has been involved in training for surge pharmacists in the UK as well as contributing to Critical Illness – a Pharmaceutical Journal publication focusing on drug use in Critical Care. More recently she has been involved in research around sedation practices in Critical Care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
